The bronze will not judge or discriminate; many people adore it.

The bronze doesn't try to be with anyone but itself. Bronze's authenticity is genuinely inspiring.

Many people look up to bronze and proudly carry it. If you need positivity in your life, add more bronze to your environment.

Bronze in the Bible

During the middle bronze age (2000 to 1500 BCE), bronze replaced copper in the production of metal weapons, jewelry, and vessels since bronze is more complex than copper. Because of its beautiful qualities, bronze wasn't only used for weapons but also for decorations since it can be polished.

Bronze was first mentioned in the bible in the book of Genesis. Tubal-Cain, son of Lamech, is called the first forger of all instruments of bronze and iron.

He also represents the descent of humanity into sin and the arrogant boasts of his father, Lamech, who bragged that if he were armed, he would take revenge seven times more than Cain.

Later on, bronze was replaced by brass. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc.

However, some modern translations retain brass where hardness in sin is in view, but they use bronze as a translation elsewhere. At one time, bronze was an alloy consisting of copper and tin, and brass was an alloy of copper with zinc.

Modern translations blurred the lines between brass and bronze.

Now, copper alloys are called brass, with bronze sometimes considered a type of brass. The patriarchal period of Israel happens during the bronze age, and the time of settlement of Canaan signifies the change from the bronze age to the iron age.

The Israelites are crying out for help because Sisera had 900 chariots with bronze-rimmed wheels, and he strictly stopped the Israelites for 20 years.

The bronze was also mentioned in the Tabernacle of Moses. When you read Exodus 25:1-9, where it says, the Lord spoke to Moses: The Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give. These are the offerings you are to receive from them: gold, silver, and bronze; blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather; acacia wood; olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and the fragrant incense; and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece. Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them. Make this Tabernacle and its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you.”

Almost half of all the references to bronze refer to its use in the temple. Bronze was used in the brazen altar to the bronze laver. Bronze was the metal of choice, even for structures to bowls, cups, columns, fence posts, and frying pans.

This sturdy and easily worked metal was used throughout the Israelite's worship area.

Another temple where bronze was used was in King Solomon. King Solomon sent for Hiram of Tyre. He was the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a craftsman of bronze.

He had all the skills and knowledge to create all kinds of works related to bronze. King Solomon assigned all the work to him.

He made two pillars, two-bowl shaped tops of the pillars, the latticework for the bowl-shaped tops of the two pillars, ten moveable stands with their ten basins, and the big bronze basin called “The Sea.”

The items King Solomon assigned to Hiram to make the Lord's temple were made from polished bronze. Meanwhile, bronze as a figure of speech is concentrated in the Old Covenant poetry and the book of Revelation.

When bronze is used figuratively, it connotes strength, as seen in Job's questions. In Job 6:12,Is my strength like stones, or is my flesh made of bronze?”

Also, when describing Leviathan, who cannot be fettered, it's said that It regards iron as straw and bronze as rotten wood.

In Jeremiah 1:18-19, it's stated there: “And I, behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land. They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the Lord, to deliver you.”

A well-known use of bronze is its association with slavery and imprisonment. It signifies the treatment of the fallen leaders through victorious enemies.

Bronze also represents booty and weaponry. In 1 Samuel 17:5-7, bronze described Goliath's armor and weapon.

He had a bronze helmet on his head and was wearing scale body armor. The weight of his bronze body armor was five thousand shekels.

He had bronze shin guards on his legs, and a bronze javelin was slung over his shoulders. The shaft of his spear was like a weaver's beam, and the iron point of his spear weighed six hundred shekels.

His shield-bearer was walking before him.

Therefore, in the bible, bronze signifies God's righteous judgment due to sin. For instance, the altar where sacrifices were offered at the Tabernacle, the type of cross Jesus carried was made of bronze, and when John sees the Son of Man with feet of fine bronze that have been refined in a furnace.
