Ask any grandmas out there about how special having a grandchild is, and their faces will surely light up. Studies even show that with brain scans, it was discovered that grandparents feel more affection for grandkids than their adult children.
Grandmas have an exceptional bond with their grandchildren, whether at first, they don't like having the idea of grandchildren. But, then, they would become a grandmother, and they love it!

But in a deeper sense, being a grandmother is more than that.
You want the best for your child, and seeing them have their own makes you happy that they will get to experience the joy of parenthood despite challenges. It is in your knowing that being a parent brings the best out of the version of yourself that you've never imagined before.
Having a child helps you grow on different levels and learn deeper about yourself. And having a grandchild is a new phase.
You get to experience motherhood but—without responsibilities!
Grandchildren are the grandparent's crown of old age. A child is proud of their parents for how they were raised and lived in wisdom.
Children will imitate their parents and will walk with them in wisdom. This is the face of a godly life because the kind of life the Lord wants you to live was extended to the second generation and the third.
“Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children” (Proverbs 17:6)
If your children and your grandchildren follow the godly life you have instilled for generations, it is a kind of pride you would want to wear. The crown refers to the crown of righteousness—and accomplishment that the Lord has done through you!
Pray for your grandchildren to lead a good and goodly life with the proper guidance and knowledge of the Lord.
Dear Lord, thank you for enabling me and entrusting me to care for and enjoy my grandchildren
I pray that you guide my grandchildren to grow in your grace and knowledge
Grant them to live a life of love, and may honesty and integrity be their virtue
Lord, may you lead them to grow loving for your word
Enlighten them to act justly in all they do and be merciful just as merciful as you
Lord God, grant that these children show proper respect for themselves, others, and for the authority
Please help them develop strong self-esteem and confidence that is deep-rooted in awareness that they are wonderfully and fearfully made by you
Fuel them that no matter what fears or challenges they face, they remain strong and courageous
Pour all the purity of heart, kindness to everyone else, and generosity
Teach them to do all things with perseverance, responsibility, compassion and willingness, and the ability to work hard
Cultivate humility, selflessness, contributions, and manifestations beyond self
Allow my grandchildren to lead a peaceful life filled with joy
I pray that faith, gratitude, and passion for God grow in their hearts
