St. Anne of Nazareth is an extraordinary woman who lives by virtue of faith and who was blessed by the grace of God.

With her dedication and devotion through prayer and her husband Joachim of Nazareth, they were gifted a child at an old age making the impossible possible! With her name symbolized as “the Gracious One,” God chose her to carry a life in her womb and be the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

It was believed that St. Anne was free from original sin, making her an Immaculate Conception. As a result, she produced an extraordinary child born of Immaculate Conception.

St. Anne devoted her only child to God in complete trust and conviction, out of love, and was able to raise Mary with purity and grace.

Mary was raised and taught by St. Anne in the will and wisdom of God. She gave birth to the Savior Jesus Christ with the maternal love and grace passed down to her by her mother, St. Anne.

St. Anne’s veneration and conviction to God carried out the will of the Lord—the salvation of humankind.

Below is a Powerful Prayer to St. Anne To Obtain a Special Favor.

O Glorious St. Ann, filled with compassion for those who invoke thee and with love for those who suffer, heavily laden with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at thy feet and humbly beg of thee to take under thy special protection the present affair which I commend to thee.

[State your petition and request for special favor]

Be pleased to commend it to thy daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and lay it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy outcome.

Cease not to intercede for me until my request is granted.

Above all, obtain for me the grace of one day beholding my God face to face, and, with thee and Mary and all the Saints, of praising and blessing Him for all eternity.

Amen.

Good St. Ann, mother of her who is our life, our sweetness and our hope, pray to her for us and obtain our request. [Recite 3 times]

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Prayer for St. Anne's Intercession

Hail, O Good St. Ann, who first responded to the needs of Mary, Mother of our Savior and Queen of Angels.  Hail to you and to your husband, St. Joachim, who watched over her infancy, presented her to the Lord in the Temple and, according to your promise, consecrated her to the service of Almighty God.

Hail St. Ann, good mother!  I rejoice in the marvels you continually perform because they encourage all to seek your heavenly intercession.  And so with faith and confidence I now place these needs before you,

[mention your request]

Good St. Ann, by the great power God has given you, show yourself my mother, my consoler, my advocate.  Implore for me from Divine Providence the guidance and protection I need through life.  Console me in my trails.  Strengthen me in my struggles.  Help me bear all my crosses.  Deliver me from danger during times of trouble.  Assist me at the hour of death and open to me the gates of Paradise.  Amen.

O glorious Saint Ann, you are filled with compassion

Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles,

Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
