He is the bastard child of Cronos, one of the mightiest titans, and the sea nymph Philyra. Cronos disguises himself as a horse to entice Philyra to make love to him. As a result, Chiron, also known as the “Wounded Healer,” is born.

Chiron's parents reject him. He is Cronos's bastard son, and Philyra could not acknowledge him. So, Chiron's wound began early in his life.

Chiron is not like his kin because most centaurs have bad habits and are known for becoming constant offenders. Chiron, on the other hand, devoted his life to healing and teaching his students. He had also taught some of the most famous Greek mythology heroes as his students, including Heracles.

Heracles and the wild Centaurs engaged in a fight that resulted in Chiron's death.

According to the legend, the accidental shooting of a poisonous arrow brought Chiron's everlasting life to an end. He was a well-known healer, but ironically, he is unable to heal himself.

There is also a Chiron in you, the wound that will change your life. By acknowledging this area in your life may lead you to heal yourself, and if handled well, you can heal other people as well.

Your Chiron in Cancer Wounds

These certain aspects in your life cause you to have security and assurance that you are being loved. In this lifetime, your suffering lies around you. Being aware of these aspects in your life may help you overcome and adjust to direct you to your healing.

Family Abandonment or Unloved

Your Chironic wound indicates that it occurred early in your life, with your family. Your primary concerns revolve around your mother or your family in general.

Whether you have ever been denied love or feel abandoned in your life because of your mother's death or absence, you have that feeling of being trapped in a family in which you are unappreciated or unheard.

This wound can make you feel vulnerable, emotional, and needy. When you're in a relationship, you're inevitably going to end up suffocating people to get their attention and their reassurance that you're safe under their wings.

Emotional Self-Sabotage

The fear of being in the same situation again where you will be rejected and left behind is haunting you. You tend to keep away from any relationships as possible. You sabotage your chance to be happy because you expect that these people will still leave you in the end.

You tend to judge yourself and the way you handle your relationships and end up pitying yourself because you can’t keep a person in your life. The loneliness will lead you to the possibility of being single in this lifetime.

Neediness

You are looking for some emotional attention, and in the worst case, the person you will love might suffocate with your nurturing just to please them. Your past experiences mainly cause all these negative traits.

You fill the feeling of emptiness inside you by looking for constant validation and attention. You tend to put your partners as your priority because you are afraid to be abandoned again.

Hoarding Resources

Early on in your life, you witness the instability in the family to which you belong. Due to this experience, may it be in your parent’s relationship, financial status, or safety, it will lead you to hoard these resources. These scenarios in your life mold you to protect your money or even your relationships.

You are worried that your relationships and your money will not be going to last. These problems may cause you to save up to much of your resources in any way possible to make yourself feel secure with your life.

How Do You Heal?

The Chiron in Cancer will heal through embracing your vulnerable Self. Learn to put trust in dealing with your relationships. Resolve to find beauty in every situation and do not focus on what may happen in the future.

Build your definition of home, where your comfort lies. Because if the home you consider is wrecking you, then you need to let it go. So that you won’t allow yourself shattered together with it.

You do not need to be bothered by the dark side of your past. It would be best if you focus on the present instead. You do not need anyone to validate your existence. The only thing you need to heal is to accept yourself when no one is willing to accept you.

Your Healing Gift

From abandonment and neglect, you will bloom into a person who loves himself. Accepting your vulnerability is your first step in healing.

Empowering People

You will discover your healing gift after you will thoroughly learn to love yourself. Instead of becoming a victim of your past, you learn from it. Eventually, you will be able to help others by loving and nurturing themselves to be the person who values others.

These people you will pour your heart into are your kids or nieces, and you will become a devoted mother or father, making sure that they won’t experience the same things that happen in your past.

Therefore, you will make people feel accepted and loved. You are motivating and inspiring them to be better.

Financial Management

You are deprived of security when you are young, and it is not limited to people but also money matters. You learn that you will achieve protection in any aspect of your life through managing your money very well.

Your motivation to learn about money is caused by the trauma that your past experiences have brought you.

Nurturing People

You can read other people's emotional wounds based on your intuitive nature. When you have the idea of what they are going through, you have that tendency to provide and give your total care to protect that person.

Even though you are the type of guy reserved in making sure that no one will read what you feel, you don’t trust people, or more likely, you don’t trust them with your emotional dilemma.

You are willing to protect and encourage people, but you failed to protect and encourage yourself in the end.
